myOS: OSX 10.6.8

Today i updated maschine to 2.1 and noticed it won't launch anymore! :-(
Seems NI changed compiler settings or updated xcode :-(
The error report mentioned missing libc++.1.dylib
found out that this library wasnt deployed to 10.6 by eppel - so me not alone :o)

1) grap this precompiled package and install (intel/64bits only)

2) macports users are able to get them thru macports!

If you installed via pacifist you probably wouldn't get a warning, but I tried to update my legit Komplete ultimate on 10.6.8, and while the service center would download the updaters, it wouldn't install them, warning my that I needed 10.7+… I did the plist trick for the supercharger or whatever as a test, and that worked fine, but am a bit hesitant to do it on Kontakt or something else crucial to my setup….. NI basically just doesn't want to beta test or support 10.6.8 anymore, which sucks, but that's the way ir goes I guess. I have stuck on 10.6.8 due to it's stability, but fear I may now have to go to ML…. hopefully it will be relatively painless...

 

you just haven't read the topic i guess, except machine2 everything ni runs fine on SL with minor plist adaptions. The fix provided here is for a runtime library problem. It has nothing to do with pacifist nor pref files or installers. Anyway do their thing dood ...
