Although I've not played in a good long while now, Othello was my game of choice for about 20 years and I never lost a game...ever. I was a mindless machine and just put down the piece where it needed to be. It was weird.

 

Strip Parcheesi was quite popular on weekends before the internets destroyed polite society. always kept a box or two at the hunting cabin to keep things interesting between slaying beasts and healing hangovers...

 

This is so beautiful! I love old board games. I also like playing Dixit.

 

When life seems full of Chaos a quick game of Monotony, will help to level out the peaks and valleys...

 

Just picked up Clue at a local thrift store.

 

Get a piece of cardboard. Three cards to play 3 card Monte. Or a pair of dice for craps, and let the games begin. Everyday I'm hustlin'!!! LOL.

 

I hate Othello. I had it on cartridge on my old snes and I never win

Whether it's a chill night in with the fam or a wild game night with friends, there's always something awesome about gathering around a table and getting your game on.

Personally, I'm all about that classic Monopoly vibe. There's just something satisfying about bankrupting your friends and taking over the board like a boss. But hey, I'm not too shabby at Scrabble either! It's like a workout for your brain, ya know?

Oh, and let's not forget about spider solitaire! It's the ultimate solo game when you're just chilling and need to pass the time. Plus, nothing beats the feeling of finally winning after what feels like a million failed attempts. Pure satisfaction, my friend.

Sometimes I just play Catan or Yahtzee solo to chill, and using https://dice.onl/ makes that a lot easier when I don’t wanna dig through drawers for actual dice. It’s quick and works fine on my phone too. For group games like Betrayal or Risk, we also use it when dice go missing or someone forgets to bring them.

I love this game! I play it with my young son and he can get so frustrated when he has to go back to start! (mind you, who doesn't?!) In Italian it's called "Non ti arrabbiare" (Don't get angry), which I think it's an appropriate name for it
We also play Monopoly quite often, still a great classic.

I've been a Chess lover since childhood, even played for my school's team, and since Chess partners are hard to find these days I find them on Lichess Android app. Excellent game. You can play with a computer or random players across the planet. If you like Open Source programs, install FDroid which is like a Google Play for Open Source. There's tons of useful apps and games without ads'n'shit.



I would prefer to play it "analogue way", though...
