NEW 02.05.2024 - Reason 13 is here

    From January 1, 2024, onwards, every purchase or upgrade to Reason 12 includes a free upgrade to Reason 13, available on June 18, 2024. Reason 13 will of course also be available to all Reason+ subscribers.

    sounds not really like a major upgrade!

    im just fine with 12.5.3, it has subtractor and malström everything i need for me. And since i use the Reason Plugin, i dont care about sequencer stuff, etc.

    Some nice additional tools that should have previously been standard, like for sidechaining and stereo imaging, but feels like a minor update rather than a whole new version update to me.

    I agree that the plugin is more useful to than the full program for how I work as well. Still looking forward to a test run when 13 is finalized.

    I'm sure that's why it is a free upgrade for current users. How will they please users prior to January 2024 is the real question.

    Some of the things look interesting, but why bother with yet another generic synth and delay when they have so many already to choose from? I would have preferred they do something more than fix the zooming in the piano roll - but a total overhaul of the UX isn't likely to happen.

    hehe i somewhat thought the same.

    I mean tagging is nice, the delay, more grain stuff ok sure and the synth, well ... not to much about 80s synth.

    needed the Sequencer some overhaul?
