Hi folks, need some help. I did recently reinstalled my windows 10 due some issues, so i also had to reinstall my plugins. I recently reinstalled my Steven Slate Drums (SSD 4) with all the libraries i had and properly added the folder in SSD 4 settings. And actually it shows up all the drums and grooves in the list, but i can't any of them to open. Nothing happens when i double click on any of them. It also doesn't show any samples, all the windows are empty. Any thoughts?

Sounds off, ssd's are inert storage, you must place the libraries where you want them then reinstall the plugins pointing to their new locations. , you'll have to provide more information, sample libraries virtual instruments etc should be kept on a non-system drive and should remain unaffected by reinstalling windows, no need to copy them again really, just make sure your software is looking at the right folder.
Obviously you have to point your DAW in the right direction once you have everything reinstalled on a fresh windows. Forget about where the libs were and deal with where they are now.

They are where they should be, in a SSD4 libraries folder. Like i said, i see the most of rhe presets in the plugin, nothing wrong with that, but i can not open them, nothing happens when i try to open some of the presets.

what software are you using? When you browse the ssd are the files there? what plugin doesn't work? what are the libraries affected? You need to provide more information if you want a diagnosis/

I'm a bit confused by this "SSD4". You have 4 SSDs installed and this one is the 4th SSD? It is its name in Windows?

Presets probably don't open in a plugin (I presume) because the SSD4's letter (C,D,E,F...) was different when you saved them. A lot of plugins use absolute paths in their presets for some absolutely stupid reason. Like, the preset is looking for samples at e:/banana/orange/samples/ instead of just /banana/orange/samples.

Quick remedy would be to change the SSD4's letter from whatever it is now to whatever it was before. You can do that by clicking right button on computer (on desktop), then "manage">"disk management">click SSD4>"change name or letter". If I remember correctly. Not using Windows much these days.

Yes, I think he means SD3 (Superior Drummer 3) instead of SSD4. Superior Drummer 4 isn't out yet.

I have SD3 installed on Win and Mac and can easily point to any drive a library is located, everything is loading fine. What version and release do you use?

do you have file properties turned on so you can see the dates and actual sizes of the files along with their actual filenames and extensions? you can't really know the properties of the files by just looking at an icon or a filename without extensions.
you may have fapped them into zero bit files or they are just links, without examining the properties you don't know what you have..

just a borked installation then, paths are wrong. Clean start with pristine sources should sort you out.
