You'd need a different interface. It would need to have onboard DSP mixer to function standalone.

The keyboard and drum machine in the diagram posted above, are connected with TRS cables.

If you are ever in a bind and actually need something connected via TS "instrument cables", you can connect a TRS instead, and then pull it out from the jack 1 click and it will be just TS anyway. Just to test, don't leave it like that.

a di will let your guitars be the correct impedance for your board, it will make it the same as an instrument level, like the keyboard.

it will not however produce a sound the guitarist will like unless you take the signal from his pedal board and an amp sim like the Pod 6 etc.

talk to your guitarist and bass player and see what gear they run their signal through.buy the DI and try it out. ... you will learn things and understand your gear. it won't hurt anything. except your wallet and that merely the price of lunch in any city.
