you really cant say if it's in a mjor or minor key because John's (mostly) and Paul's chord changes are very confusing like only a music genius can do. The words? Oh well...they were 20 years old at the time, that's enough to feel true sadness in that masterpiece

 

I’ve often wondered how Help! would’ve turned out if Lennon had his way. That song originally wasn't supposed to be an upbeat bop. I believe George Martin suggested speeding it up to give it a more commercial sound.

 

Carry that weight....the meaning behind it, i mean its a pretty sad song about themselves.
