This is why. Some people are fast around their studio and know their gear. ANNA has the screensaver on here in some parts but still gets a tune going using hardware that's virtually everywhere except for in front of the monitor, and only using a Push 2 and Arturia keyboard later on. Some people get inspired away from the monitor. Her other videos have her all over her studio making tunes without using hardware in front of the screen and she is super quick:

I have a 61 keys midi keyboard controller. So you might be right about 88 keys midi keyboard controller.

Actually I was talking about midi keyboards, but not the hardware ones. Otherwise all of your comments make sense, and I totally agree with these statements.

When I play midi keyboard, I only look at the screen in order to change the VSTi, or to alter the programmed sound.

my ideal solution would be that they made keyboards that are very thin. They can be 'deep', but should be thin. Howver, the part that hsould noit be thin is the keys. IF the keyboards are thin, have nroaml guys..then that method may work better when they are combined on top of eachother. Then the table of course also needs to be as thin as possible, like metal or glass.

I usually either play music or program the notes. Usually I just program what I just played.so for me tthe keybaord and the screen do not HAve to be that close. However, when Im going through new sounds, I like to be able to switch back and forth. I would still like it if kontakt traded in 1 key on the keyboard as a 'forward patch' and one as 'backward patch' so do not constantly have ot go back to your typing keyboard or mouse when you browse endless presets. WHY IS TEHRE NOT EVEN A STANDARD KEY on the (typing) KEYBOARD FOR 'next preset' and 'previous preset'. That switching between music keyboarda and mouse gets old for me...pressing on tiny buttons on kontakt too.

By default you can switch loaded presets with midi channel buttons on the keyboards if I remember correctly, but it doesn't browse the presets of the library. But maybe that's also possible. Haven't used Kontakt in a long time.

People come up with all sorts of bs like this when they want an excuse to buy more gear. This stuff is like old wives' tales and superstitions.
