I'm writing on a track where at the mastering level I can get to all the parameter of my reference track (see in the image attached, but I cannot get the LU the same.

I am using logic pro X with iZone 11 advanced only. Any advice will be really appreciated.

in case i get you right you are asking a wrong question.

since you usually need to obeye the integrated LUFS and the max LUFs at 400ms, there is nothing you can do against shorter passages in a track beeing different from a reference track.

different distribution of dynamics result in different LU values, we have to live with that.

that is basically why we only measure this stuff at 100ms, 400ms, 3000ms and program - and not per minute.

 

I even don't know what is DR? I use Insight for this

 

It means your track is not constantly loud enough and about -9db lower in average (not sure the window size) than your target loudness set on the app at times. Judging from the waveform I think pushing up all the buildup before the drop about 3-5db (decreasing the difference in level between the buildup and drop) will greatly reduce your LU reading for the track if that's what you desired. Will lost a lot of impact tho, kinda need to be creative with it.

 

The length of your track and your references also have an impact as well as the intro, the so-called strong drop parts, the breaks and the end, the fade in and out also have a possible impact on the objective of your reference.

You can try to adjust your LUFS with the general dynamic tools but play sparingly with them! Generally for my part when I use the clippers I tend to lose too much dynamic (logic seeing as it crushes and cuts the peak heights at an equal level) Conversely a compressor parameters are well managed see in Parallel processing with a light limiter and all that by increasing the whole thing I manage to reach interesting levels of loudness, but all this really and obviously depends a lot on the initial mixing, the nature of the piece and the influence of the genre as well
