The saying "money is the root of all evil" is actually referring to people, not money. Money in itself is just a tool to make your life unbearable, bearable, good, or lavish. My issue is with the "lavish" part and with people who don't know how to stop, because of these characters there are too many people who's lives are unbearable to barely bearable. We should all be able to live a good life somehow. Just a nice, good life, but as things are everything that money touches gets ruined in some way... because of greed and selfishness. Money is the worst drug of them all.

money is a means of exchange.
economics is the system by way goods and services are distributed, always unequally.

without money there is no way to get that new keyboard or a ham sandwich etc unless the consumer creates everything he wants and needs by himself.

money is a bitch, but without it we are all in rags and chains.
