a used yamaha djx2 with fl studio 10 going midi out and the djx audio going into fl studio via an M-Audio Audiophile 192.

something about all of the djx bass sounds still hits perfect for me.

second was a casio ht-700 that finally died last year , linked to fl studio with sugarbytes obscurium.

most recent a berhinger pro 800 through a uad volt 2

first drum machine was boss dr 880 i still use.
    second is a berhinger rd8.

got an electrix warp factory vocoder last year alongside a Yamaha PSS-140 as a synth source because its my first keyboard i ever had as a kid

Crumar Stratus 1982. Had the choice between that and a Juno 6. Never regretted it, great organ/synth combo sounds.

I bought Serum in 2015, my first ever synth purchase. Don't regret it a bit, I use it in my every project.

EDIT: I might've understood the topic wrong lol, I don't own any hardware synths unfortunately.

Had a love-hate relationship for a long time, went between "this thing is AWESOME" and "they can't possibly expect me to make music with this SHIT". It was collecting dust for a year or two, reminding me of my failed endeavor as a synth nerd.

Then I started playing with it again and for the last two years I have been amazed again and again at the infinite sonic palette it offers. It's an amazing machine.

But I still haven't made any music with it. At least what ordinary people would consider music.

Here's mine in a picture over the years and turn 50 tomorrow. I'll let you decide which is a Toy, Keyboard or a Synth
I've still got the Roland Sound Module (somewhere) and the Roland JV-880 and Yamaha CS6x. My Keyboards.jpg
I think you can probably guess the order from Top left down, Top centre down then Top right down.

Roland Juno 60. When I see what they're going for nowadays, ask me how dumb I feel that at a certain point, a million years ago, I decided to 'trade-up' from the Juno 60 to an E-mu Emax!
