hi,i own synthmaster 2.9. there is cheap upgrade to synthmasterone.
if i get synthmasterone is there presets in it different from synthmaster 2.9?

 

I would guess the presets would not be compatible.
I have both but only checked them out a year or so ago, because I decided to not invest the time as other synths may be better AND I have so many to try to learn.

But if you already use it, that long comment seems to indicate that "one" may be more productive for some things due to ease of use..
And it looks to be only $9 USD? That seems quite tempting.
Now I am installing it again. As a hobbyist it's not all about productivity, but more about curiosity ..fun

They have different factory presets, as they have different engines.

But, you could get Synthmaster One AND the upgrade to Synthmaster 3, as it says this on their website:

"SynthMaster One is a different product, therefore its presets can not be loaded into SynthMaster/SynthMaster Player. However, that will change when we release SynthMaster 3. SynthMaster 3 will be able to load SynthMaster One presets as layers."

Upgrade from Synthmaster 2.9 to 3 is only 29$.
