    I've used both.

Relab MEA-2 is little more than your regular digital eq but with analogue interface. Lime does a lot more, but let's not forget it's an AA plugin, so expect heavier than usual cpu usage, laggy interface, maybe some odd compressor behaviour. Both have unusual curves but nothing too crazy or useful for everything.

Functionality wise, one is a mastering eq, the other a channel strip, so completely different roles. Can't really make a fair comparisson on that department, so i guess it's up to what you want to use them for.

I'd say Lime is a better channel strip than the Relab mea-2 is a mastering eq, if you're okay with AA's....excentricities.

Comparing a "clean" mastering Masalec with a Neve channel strip its like comparing apples to oranges, they're totally different and used for different applications. While Masalec is mainly used for mastering, the Lime/Neve channel strip was designed for mixing. A better comparison would be Masalec MEA2 and AA Ivory which is also a Masalec. Onçy have experience with Ivory, its a clean EQ with a nice color tone but there are so many options that i havent been using it for a while now.
