It feels balanced, one could argue about the taste but i find it musical and balanced. You˙re there.

Now, hi-hats are for me a little bit harsh with a shaker maybe poking out, from 3.6khz to 7 to 10khz maybe a touch to bright but never the less still balanced.

A wideband de-esser like Pro-DS can often get rid of the "annoying" or harsh quality of this, without having to cut with an EQ. It's non-vocal sibilance that can be caused by compression artifacts. The High-End Transient Limiting setting of Pro-DS is usually a good place to start adjusting it.

I might try using Pro-DS myself, mostly gravitate to Metric Halo Deeser and certain sibalance plugs like TB_sibalance. "Baked in" harshness is another story..

To me, along with the kick coming up, 1k up 3-4k needs some smoothing or maybe warming up the bottom a little? Sounds groovy though and I dig it!

hello dear! i listened it carefully, the midrange sounds good, the kick is too far, you need to bring it up and make the attack more prominent, try to use a multiband eq on the mid-high frequency to avoid harsh sound. I would like to hear more from the lowend, especially from the drum (it should give more groove and be less dark) ; the outro it sounds too filtered and digital
