Hi guys, any idea what this instruments is or how to make it ? It's an harp/marimba or something i can't figure out. It starts at 0.30 in the first example and is the main melody in the hook at 0.50.

Not totally sober over here ATM, but to me it sounds like a xylophone, or more probably some synth emulating a xylophone.

check out the posted tuts on Chromaphone(AudioZ)...its a specialised percussion synth doing these kinds of sounds really well...has up to 32 notes poly and is extremely teakable...in fact the very first preset is called "Fairmount Marimba"...
