do not update to 14.4 yet!
The new update causes serious problems with PACE iLok software on Apple Silicon!

UPDATE: The Problem seems affecting only Logic Pro users with AU plugin and somehow Avid!
PACE, Apple and other plugin developer are aware of this!

SOLUTION FOR NOW: Run Logic Pro in Rosetta mode!

and trolling AVID, because they released new ProTools 2024.3 just two days ago with Sonoma 14.3 compatibility and now they're all broken again lmao

Updated, not affected, everything works the same as on Monterey.

I have this issue. Basically any ilok plugin I own refuses to validate without rosetta mode enabled. If i then return to native they all fail to load.

 

Does it work with Rosetta?

I have a Intel HAckintosh with Antelope Audio Interface. I got also an Email from Antelope 2 days after i did the update that they advixe me to not update. HAHAHAHAHa

So the Whole Antelope Native Bundle was not working under 14.4.

Now i reverted back to 14.3.1. Now its running Again.

All Antelope NAtive Plugins are protected via ILOK.

I also have the binaries and AAX/VST3 and AU Files here. If somebody is interested.

Yeah, I think iLok/PACE will always have issues because Apple will continue to work on security updates that will break it, wish they actually had some developer preview so they can be ready on day 1, instead of playing catching up, looks really unprofessional.

There ARE developers betas!
Everyone got an access to them. Just enable Beta-Updates in your system options on your Mac.

 

Those are the public betas.. As an Apple developer, they should actually have access to the legit developer releases (and the resources that come with a dev account), which are usually a few days before the public ones hit.
