I've paid for a course, but i wanna be able to watch the content offline. What would be the quickest way to download them to my HD?

It's a Kajabi course with the videos hosted on Wistia. Is there a good app that does this efficiently?

Note i don't wanna do the screen recording thing

If you use Opera Web Browser there is a plugin called 'Flash Video Downloader' that works with pretty much everything I throw at it.

It claims to also work with Chrome although I've not tested it on there.. It wont however work on Firefox, although you might be able to find on an equivalent add-on on there .

 

I use Opera but couldn't find 'Flash Video Downloader' using 'get extensions' . Did you mean FlashGet?

 

Opera can open Chrome extensions and I remember that it was Chrome extension.
So just put the phrase in google and download extension from chrome extensions site

I think none of the "solutions" in this thread will work since you're most likely going to get a 403 forbidden error because the downloader can't get past the paywall, it needs cookies. Some downloaders might get through because they're "together" with you on the page, but might not be able to reconstruct a m3u8 playlist if the video is not a simple mp4 file, which is becoming increasingly rare.

Here's a solution that will most likely work, but you're going to need to put effort into googling and learning:
1- get yt-dlp
2- get a cookies export addon for your browser, export the cookies from the website you're going to get the videos from
3- find a way to get the m3u8 playlist from the video page - may it be from using the developer tools from your browser or getting an addon for that (e.g. bulk media downloader on firefox)
4- in yt-dlp, run: yt-dlp --cookies cookies.txt "link-to-the-m3u8-playlist"

Quotes are essential for the link to work. If you don't get it at all, there's a somewhat long learning curve ahead, and that's supposing the video has no DRM and is just behind a login cookie. Once you master yt-dlp, the only videos you won't be able to download are DRM-protected.

From a *very* experienced online video downloader: try Video DownloadHelper. I've been using this Firefox extension for about a decade and downloaded thousands of... videos. 2nd choice is Flash Video Downloader - it doesn't work 100% with all the porn sites. oops...

And that's the problem we're facing more and more, in this case most of the common downloaders like

won't work.
I played around with a chrome method that worked some time ago, but sites are updating fast.

I found one only sw able to download any DRM clip (m3u8 was my interest) but it's very expensive, and I always fear that within some months sites are protecting against that as well, so I'm not sure to purchase it yet.

 

This worked for me.

Yt-dl also worked, i went through the long learning curve and everything, but it was still very finnicky so i ended up trying Wistia Video Downloader and it was quicker/easier

I would honestly just use OBS Studio and do a screen capture. Not the most elegant or convenient solution but at least it works even if the site blocks downloading. As a person who needs to obsessively back everything up, I hate it when they put in measures to keep you from downloading a video.

There's also a site called 9xbuddy which works with a lot of sites, including NSFW stuff.

I have had quite a few problems downloading Aulart and PML courses, and the only solution I found that worked in my case is:
Firefox with "Live Stream Downloader" extension.
