For every Google search I did on the matter, Decapitator appears on the top of almost all the lists I found. Too bad, the Soundtoys release was due around Christmas but never happened. Someone said in the comments, that they have provided the license file to emulate the authorization process but I don't know how things work internally on the sister site. Which group got the license ? Maybe they are working on it ? Keeping an eye out for whenever it happens.

Thank you for the suggestion Matt.

I followed the Trash 3 thread here at the board and apparently, Trash 2 is favored by many good members here. Found it on sister site, will give it a go in due time. Thank you Arabian for the informative post. Highly appreciated!

Using Guitar amp sims for distortion for your synth is fun too.

That wasn't meant to be political. Even though it's not wrong. It's just at the start of the video. Go to around 5:05

Prefer analog over digital 100% and fewer controls are always welcome. Did a Google search on the first one, and found all sorts of results about Fruit Jams LOL.

Listened to the demo of Valves, gonna give it a try surely and LG drive too. Looks promising. Thank you from the core of my heart eli, your help is highly appreciated.

Thank you Blossom. The list is very extensive. Got myself Dirt from the sister site, will experiment with it in due time. And +1 for Overloud suggestion, their plugins (to me) are top notch and don't get the mention often they deserve, very underrated stuff.

First, allow me to thank you from the core of my heart. The list have so many suggestions with description, some vendors listed here, I never knew they existed. I googled them one by one and have grabbed what interested me and what I could find which means most of the stuff listed here. Judging from the comments on the sister site, OutPut Thermal seems to have many fans. It's cued to be the first one to go on the list. Also, after your mention of Audiothing, as also mentioned by @OffshoreBanking checked out their entire catalogue, many plugins interests me apart from those specifically for the distortion so gonna check their other plugins too.

Rift works properly on my system, if you wanna give it a try, send me a PM and I'll send it your way.

A million thanks again for this detailed and descriptive posts. I would have never found these gems without your help, may God bless you with health and hapiness.

Years old, 32-bit only, but I still mess around with this plugin.

Seems like an abondonware with no x64 derivative but judging from the comments, it's indispensable for some users, must be great stuff. Feeling sad having missed out on this one. But nonetheless thank you for introducing me to it. Cheers!

You made me blush. Glad I could be of help.
If you got Rift from TCD, then I got it too. My PC doesn't want to be friends with their cracks for whatever reason.

    I use
    • Softube Harmonics for bread-and-butter saturation
    • iZotope Trash 2 to transform and mangle sounds
    • Kazrog True Iron for subtle depth on single tracks
    • Audiority Tube Modulator for some less subtle depth shaping
    • PSP E27 to fill gaps in the spectrum before EQing
    • Softube Tape to glue busses and give some oomph
    • SIR Audio StandardCLIP for clipping
    • D16 Decimort for bit crushing

and various others that come with compressors, channel strips, etc.

Softube makes good stuff, currently using their Trident A Range 500 EQ and absolutely loving it. To be honest, haven't found a more musical sounding EQ, overloud 495 comes close but Softube's the best, personal opinion, obviously other people have their own favorites too.

Your suggestions in the list are copied and added to a to-do list. Will try that I can find. Many thanks for the valuable input. Cheers!
