Zero guitars in Turkey are twice the normal price and I can't find a second hand Mexican fender near me. Thank you for what you said, I will keep each of them in mind.

 

Since I'm producing, I probably won't even use the normal guitar tone in some songs, I'm very confident when it comes to sound design, I just want to buy a guitar and be with it for a long time because the conditions require it...

 

You should look into Harley Benton guitars. They are much more well made than most well known brands cheaper guitars. Even with international shipping costs they're still worth it. People even order these from the USA.

 

If new, Mexican Strat or Tele & call it a day. If used, find an 80's Japanese Fender if you can.

 

Aren't there like a crazy amount of really good luthiers in Turkey that do crazy good guitars.

It's been 20 years since I was in that part of the world but I remember walking around the back alleys in Galata and thinking WTF this stuff is really well made and a good deal.

Maybe check out the homegrown product, from what I remember the good stuff is really good and within your price range.

 

There are extra taxes on everything ordered from abroad, and an average tax of 2.5 times the price occurs here. So I can't buy it. Thank you for your suggestion anyway.

It was one of the most interesting and beautiful places I ever visited, I hope it comes back to what it was.

You know that most guitarists using their own signature series, that means it is customized based on their needs .. so always remember that Guitar is really a personal instrument, don't get fooled by the gimmick. And better to buy trusty brands .. check all the fretworks, the wiring, and finishing too ..

 

Fender and Gibson guitars will always command a premium price compared to many others. They are the 2 big guitar companies in the world. They both offer less premium, 2nd tier brands, Gibson offers Epiphone guitars, basically clones of most Gibson models, made overseas from the USA.

Fender does the same with the Squier line.

these are much cheaper. I bought a fender Tele metal flake finish new for 129$ about 3 years ago.

You are looking for 3 things in a guitar. 1 it will stay in tune. 2 the neck is straight and the frets aren't worn out. 3. it plays well, the neck feels good in your hand, its easy to reach all the frets. its not too heavy. the electronics work and sound good.

The brand doesn't matter unless you have a very small penis, than it will obviously compensate for your small dick. Otherwise get a guitar that you enjoy playing that sounds good, its all about playing it everyday, a guitar that makes you happy to play it, will make you play it more often.

Yamaha makes many great guitars, that aren't as in demand as the gibson and fender. I have a yamaha version of a strat, I paid 60$ used because it wouldn't stay in tune. I had to block the floating bridge, it was misadjusted. plays fine. if i ever get the time i'll adjust the floating bridge, if i need it.

I'd start with a cheaper guitar and learn, what sometimes very small differences separates a 100$ guitar from a 1,000$ guitar. They are many sharks in the used guitar market selling fakes or overpriced guitars, until you learn how to differiantiate the fakes from the real thing, don't even get involved in that market.note... nobody with any sense fakes a low cost guitar.beware the more expensive used guitars though.

The yamaha pacifica line is a great starter guitar and can be modified into some truly beautiful guitars.

If I were you I would go to a music store and play a fender, and a gibson, and a squier and an epiphone, to understand the differences. look them over, understand the shapes of the necks.

then go to a pawn shop or used instrument store and look over they're inventory and see what they have that gives you a similiar feel to the premium guitars and others that you have played.

you can also build your own guitar from a kit, its not that hard and much cheaper.
