Reaper Grid...1 beat into 5 equal distance steps

    I want to put the grid....into 5 equal distance steps Per Beat....

    how do i do it?

    i am aware of the grid options below...but i can't seem to have an option to split it into the above request

    yes, but even when zoomed it, to remain like that

    to write midi notes on that

    Two ways you can do that.

    If you are actually working with an odd time signature, just type 5/4 as your time signature and keep your grid lines at 1/4.

    If you want to see those lines while working in 4/4, you can click on the grid line field and manually type in 1/5. Should do the trick.
