I play keyboard with midi files. Is it possible to create a virtual band with 16 channels under vst kontakt? I want every time I run daw the virtual band will be the default and the midi file will automatically load into the virtual band, Is there another vst that can be a virtual band.

You're looking for a General MIDI (GM) Kontakt library?
The only one I know is TerraTec's Wave XTable VI. It's quite old. However, you can build one yourself with a collection like this here:

I think Kontakt is a bit "heavy" for setting up as a GM template.
I like Roland's Sound Canvas to start with so I can hear everything and then substitute with various VSTs (including Kontakt) once it's set up.
Sound Canvas has good GM sounds and is the easiest i know about.
It will load appropriate instruments for GM automatically.
I also like Fl Studio's FLEX, but as FL Studio handles Midi in a proprietary way, I stick with Sound Canvas.
