    thank you for your reply, if I exclude all the filters the plugins are in alphabetical order with no folder, changing some habits doesn't hurt!

    You cant for now but its getting added in a future beta.



    "We've been listening to your feedback and have been working on improvements for the Plug-Ins label that will come with the Live 12.0.5 Beta. Soon you will have the ability to:

    - Group the plug-in list by Vendor "folders"
    - Filter VST2 plug-ins by Vendor"

    Does anyone know if the new Ableton 12 recognizes and automatically swaps VST3's with VST2's recalling settings from projects where the plugin developer updated to VST3 only? Or will I need to either keep both plugins and/or manually search and replace each one and try to match settings (which I find tedious and almost impossible for most plugins)?
