Hey Guys.

Hope I am posting this in the correct forum as there seems to be no other place suitable.

I'm after websites (or midi files sepcific torrent sites) that have a huge selection of good quality free midi files of complete songs with separate instruments . A site similar to the songs available on Hit Trax (www.midi.com.au)

I know there are a lot out there like BitMidi and MidiDB, but they don't have any of the songs I'm after. And many of these sites that boast high quilty midi files don't even give you a demo sound snippets of what they sound like before you purchase. Been burnt before buying shit where there haven't had sound samples and they sound like trash.

Any help would be appreciated guys.

Hi Sirius, sorry to bother you, do oyu have a god list of midifiles??

 

I use ultimate guitar.Download the guitar pro files.I then open them with guitar pro 7 and then export them out as midi.Seems a bit long winded but you can get a lot more of the stuff you are looking for.

I think it was Olymoon who posted a shitload of midi files a short time ago. Actually several such HUGE files. At least 3 were posted recently and I have been listening to them using free cakewalk (windows), to browse and listen to them using it's GM plugin (TTS-1). Not sure how many but it seemed like it's close to a million midi files. The search on the sister site should hopefully find them. More files in them than I have time in my life to check out but it's great to have.

 

I've rarely seen professional song midi files posted and I hunted for years for them, they're often extremely good.

Any idea where I can find these packs or some alternative place to get good quality midi songs? I really need to find some so I can use them on my Yamaha PSR keyboard to play along

The best one I have heard were Tune 1000. I haven not seen them any where around. They were for GM format.

That site is a virus! Well, at least all it does is redirect constantly to different sites asking if you are a robot and to click dubious looking boxes..
