Waves CR8 - Is there a hold function

Discussion in 'Software' started by Vincent Price, Feb 26, 2024.

  1. Hello

I am just starting to use CR8 and wondering is there a hold function or something similar so you can press down on your midi keyboard without the sample 'running out' essentially

    Thanks

that should just be the default behavior when you have your loop set and the sustain turned all the way up in most samplers (I've not used CR8)

as stated above, you have to "SET A LOOP" in other words you have to put 2 locators lets say left and right to tell CR8 "start and end of the section of audio" you wanna loop (hold)

if you look at this picture you see that arrow in circle on light blue color right in the middle of the sampler, you can ACTIVATE THE LOOP there, then you have the left and right (start-end) bars for delimiting the loop

start from this brief tutorial and go tweak something you will do it
