This has been annoying me for sometime now and I wondered if you guys could help me out. Every time I load sample in Sampler One the amp is extremely loud and both the attack and release are at the lowest levels which causes irritating pops. Is there anyway to change this? Tried renaming default with normal settings but it keeps reverting back.

Also, Whats with the default setting on Redlight? Almost blew both my MS-10s because I forgot to turn the amp down(Can re-write default settings on that but not with importing samples.

1) you can't, because everytim you load a sample. Sample one settings goes to default.

2)it's a distorton plugin i'll suggest to put mix 0% raise a little bit a then start changing others parameters to taste.

3)you can save a musicloop (with blank midi) + a mixtool in the channel at -10 db. So even if you load a new sample the volume is low

Thanks Mostwest, Never though of doing it that way. Still annoying for drag and drop aside project samples such as cuts but if I do it as you suggest then it's just a case of feeding it to that channel.

 

Or youn can do like that:
create a new track
Insert mixtool with -10 db of gain
And save it as fx chain
When you create a new sample one channel just click on chain's menu e apply the mixtool
