    Try the "Vintage Sampler" preset as a starting point and then dialing down the sample rate a bit further.

    I'm using Toneboosters stuff quite a bit lately, since they run in unrestricted demo mode (V3 plugins are even entirely free)

    close but no cigar. not the same tone especially low mid warmth and weight.

    Yes, I tried it with my Alpha Juno-1. It works.
    There are other software options available, I haven't tried though
