The other day, I was checking out a tutorial on layering reverb to create depth in a mix. The instructor was using the Waves plugin called TrueVerb, and I was pretty intrigued by how the plugin had knobs that allowed you to adjust the balance between the dry sound, Early Reflections, and the tail or Late Reflections.

I don't use Waves, so I'm looking for a similar plugin that gives me that level of control over Early Reflections, Late Reflections/Tail and also allows distance modification.

Someone suggested the ReLab LX480 Complete, but I can't seem to find the parameter to balance between Early and Late reflections like in TrueVerb, nor a Distance parameter.

 

Acon Digital Verberate can do this.
But I never use this function.

 

LiquidSonics Seventh Heaven has it; also sounds great

Maaaaaybe Valhalla Room, because it has an ER section but i only looked at the knobs, no idea how they interact with the rest of the thing so maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. It's there though.

 

Altiverb 8 has many new features and improvements. It should, 7 is like 10+ years old.

They have a Portable Toilet IR, it's called the Acustica Simulator.

softube has one called TSAR reverb

it has a mix knob between early and late reflections

 

Melda MTurboReverb has it, and it's a really damn good reverb plug. Overlooked for sure.
