In the early 2000's, Sven Saur collected 2560 NordLead2 patches from the internet and from other musicians. In the last couple of days I've imported them into Discovery Pro and compiled into native format (FXB) banks. The individual patch labels are intact. I did this for my own use and felt like sharing.

ALL credit to Sven for the meticulous organizing and labelling, and the folks that made these patches way back when.

Have you tried version 5.5 they say it's even closer to original ?
It's rather sad the DSP5630 emulation project people don't want to make a NordLead which have the same chip type.

 

@Synclavier for clarification, Nord Lead 3 is actually on the table, but very back burner. I am not associated with those people. Just relaying info. It's on their site. As to Discovery Pro / Nord Lead 2, - in a final mix point of view, I would bet a dollar no human can tell the difference. Not even Quincy Jones. Anyway that's what I believe lol. Noone else has to.
