I have tried doing this quite a few times, and I have it activated to my computer. My problem is when I go to mypresonus to register with the product key, It says invalid. I have tried to do this, like what? 38 times? (I'm kidding, but it's been a lot) And Ive tried adding zero's, uppercase, lowercase, and I think and one point I was holding my breath too long. Something I noticed, was that right after I get the message, studio one is linked to my computer, if I go to back up anything and I get a message saying it HASN'T been activated.... Any ideas or insights? I'm losing my mind already.

 

Have you read and followed the instructions in the R2R .txt file??

 

your first problem may be that R2r only relased 6.5.0 and 6.5.2 for windows and the only scean release of 6.5.1 is by RET for linux

And just for clarification, I'm getting the product key from the dropdown help menu at the start page.

 

What version do you have...

So you managed to successfully activate the program...

And, if you have got this far, and it is fully licensed then you don't need to do this... have you tried to go>File>New Song

 

And one other little thing I found odd..... Take a look at the O's on the key. Maybe its me, but one of them looks like a zero, not a capital O. I sense some trickery about

with studio one.
have you mistakenly logged in and not doing ofline activation.
or you trying to register it on presonus web site as thats a no no and wont work.

the only thing you wont have is surport from presonus.

and the sample content stuff wich ive never bothered with so you will have to do your own reserce on that.

in regards to OCD they are extras as there not part of the studio one pro lisence and you whould have to pay extra for them. ;P

 

Just curious, but so then those plugins really would not be considered "stock" plugins? You can skip them if you do not want to install them. Do you know if they were made by or with Sonalksis? They used to make a bundle called Studio One bundle, which seems to have disappeared. My question is just if they rolled those into Studio One or not.

 

the Sonalksis studio one bundle was nothing to do with presonus it was what Sonalksis called there All Plugs Bundle

Not a trickery, it's the font. O (letter) and 0 (number) can look very similar. BTW, it's GO (letter), Y0 (number) in the key.

 

Probably this is the case. There're several releases that are just a new version of a plugin/app with an old crack. So they're not official.

Unless you've experience with the cr*cked stuff (nothing to be proud of btw) you may not notice it.
This has happened with both R2R and VR (Steinberg stuff comes to mind)
