The recent Real Guitars on sis site don't show on Reaper. When I launched Reaper, it definitely asked me the license. Which means Reaper detected the plugins, but the MusicLab category is empty. You can't even find their vst3 or vst2 files with search function. It's bizarre.
They work on S1 like a charm though.
Has anybody faced the same issue?

Go to Preferences>Plugins>VST>Re-scan>Plugins that failed to scan and see if the Real Guitars plugin is in that list. If it is, select it. Reaper will try to re-scan that plugin and if it's successful you will then see it in the FX browser.

They are in the list and I selected them, but nothing happened. Reaper hasn't re-scanned the failed plugins for a long time.

Watch closely on install where the plugins are being placed.

For 64-bit versions of the guitars found by REAPER make certain they are in the proper system wide recognized 64bit VST folder. Since most folks could really care less about the 32bit plugins simply rename the x86 .dlls with a faux extension (.dll.bak) so they don't get picked up during the scan.

This smacks of an installation scripting blunder by the dev although this has not been verified...

You sometimes need to do it several times before it works, but I've only experienced this with plugins from developers who use certain wrappers or with plugins that don't respond because a registration window or something is slowing down the launching of the plugin. I would have tried installing Real Guitars on my machine just to see if it works for me, but I can't be bothered to download a two part 1.5GB file from katfile right now. Takes too long on my (at the moment) shitty connection.

I just figured it out. Clear cache and re-scan worked. Thx all!
