would appreciate advice with this extremely percussive dubstep bass i made. I can't get it to be juicy the mids are not there and overall it sounds off. any advice appreciated. I added corpus to the second clip because it starts to sound better there. i use ableton and have most notable plugins... let me know. ott made it sound off as well.

sounds better to me with no corpus. I would add soothe to tame some of the lows, theres a preset called demudd the bass or something like that. You can use a multiband saturator to bring out the mids. Spectre, Saturn 2, Trash are all options. Also try clipping it, to get rid of the very sharp transients, it will help bring up some of the middle stuff if done correctly.

Its also hard to tell out of context. would be better to hear it in the mix.
