Can someone with MAschine let me know what the pad mapping are in relation to a midi keyboard?

For example...do the drum pads start with say a C1 then run through the notes the same way a keyboard does C1 C# D D# E etc

I hope this is clear lol

 

Midi Monitor on a mac will tell you all about it.

 

It takes 1 pot to transpose on the machine... so minor tweaks throw these completely off...

However... here is a Maschine scale chart I have kept handy for years.

The default Template in MIDI mode (shift+control) starts at C in Bottom-Left and ends with D# in Top-Right
and when you go from group A to group B it goes 1 octave up and again from B to C , ect...
Can be changed & custommized in the control editor.
