On second thought. The rules are kinda vague. Can you alter the midi? Like add in extra synth layers for harmonics and whatnot? I mean is it like a remix contest to where you can alter the files/midi but keep the original vibe or do you have to use the files/midi as they are and only alter them via effects(delay,phasers,flangers,etc..)???

 

Hi. You can not modify the notes of midi files, just render them with your synths and yes you can use effects, sorry for if not was clear

 

No problemo nintendo. You might want to add a little more detail in your contest description so people don't get mixed up.
