    Hi everyone,
tired of Cubase crashes, I switched to studio one a month ago and immediately found myself at ease.
But there is one thing I would like to avoid, which is that when I click on an instruments track, the active monitoring mode is activated. this thing bothers me a lot when the project is playing, because it generates clicks and audio interruptions. I would just like monitoring to only activate when I click the monitoring button, not anywhere in the track.
Does anyone know if it's possible to change this?

Did you go thru the settings and find instrument monitoring?

thanks a lot ninja, I missed this setting.

So to play it must be activated, then deactivated, right?

If by "play" you mean - play a real instrument or sing, and actually hear it in realtime : yes -Active.
Note that the Vu-meters then shows your playing/singing.

if deactive - vu shows the track.
