there arent many dubstep producers here. have u tried interacting with dubstep subreddits. ur track "HOTBEATS BAD BOY" is pretty solid imo. as others have said, improving mixing is ur next step, probably

I actually enjoyed both tracks. Not my normal style of music but I can totally appreciated it and all the different elements you can hear.

I actually dig that. I think you may be being too critical. In my opinion, maybe little more variation and movement to keep the listener entertained and a little mastering, but overall I dig it. I dig Dub/Brostep still tho,and lot of what I listen to now like We Are Magonia and stuff kinda grew from that..Idk man,I kinda feel you're looking at things the wrong way,or possibly reading into things too deeply. You gotta start with the way of thinking. I think you're way too hard on yourself, and way too hard on everyone else. I've experienced disillusion multiple times over the years, but more at a local level. My advice... Just find what works for you and drill it! I find inspiration in odd places.Hardware synths, sound design, odd genres I dont normally listen to,etc.Try incorporating different moods and feelings in music on purpose. Paint your picture. It's seems optimism is what you lack. There could be a million reasons for that. But in a general sense I just don't think you're as limited as you think. But yeah,whatever... Glad you stuck around

thanks man it means a lot to me i try to add as many elements as i can and try not to make it nonsense and sound cohesive but i still got work to do i wanna be as good as i can possibly be i don't know what my limit is , maybe i have reached it but i will try to keep pushing to the next level

yeah maybe i'm too critical with my own work but it happens since i look up to great producers i know i may not be able to reach their level but i still do what i can and try to have fun with it thank you for liking my tracks , it is true that at the moment my life is hard i just came off a very strong medication for asperger called abilify maintena which i had to take for almost two years been clean off it for 3 months now still side effects don't go away and for example i don't have any physycal strenght , cant do drugs and a long list of other side effects so maybe i am indeed depressed and way too critical about my own work , people , etc i'm not here to offend nobody i just make threads becouse i find it nice to share opinions with people and have conversations

Indeed , although I hardly know the genre (dubstep?), it sounds pretty good to me and especially not bad or amateuristic to me (which is very important). In terms of feeling inspired can, what works for me is to try to step out of my own sort of bubble in creating music. For example, I myself tend to gravitate towards the same sort of music, so what can actually help keeping things interesting is to try to step out of that a bit for the first part of the creation and see if thre is anything else that you at kinda kinda like too. And then in my case I never really end up making something really making something like the other new thing I try to make, but in the end it's always gonna be a mix of what I usually like and something that is a bit different. However, it helps to bring some new flavour to your usual routine.
Let's say in my case, I tend to like the harmonic minor sound, so I conciously try not to use that. I tend to want to make things sound kinda cinematic, big and epic...so I try not to do that. I look at hte composition of something I normally do not make, and then try to make it a bit like that.
Everything is just to just deviate from your usual path enough to go into a new route. I think some of us really have strong preferences and I think for creativity it can be helpful to do something different. You could for example try to add singing vocals on top of the style you do, or add more melody if that is normally not there, try a different mode/scale that sounds a bit differnt..etc etc..

dubstep was cringe even in 2013 :) so generic and uncreative - teenagers abusing modulation in Frutie Loops

Ok . For the first one: Less of that.
The second one: Actually playing Rocket League to that ..I scored. So..more of that.

It seems you have a lot of the technical aspects to work with..but you need also some ideas - try doing melodies with no backing and then trying to make them fit.

  17. To be honest your equipment makes no difference when it comes to ideas, but what you listen to and love will inspire ideas all day...

Sounds like you listen a lot to rather soulless version of a dead genre and probably smoke too much gear. (speaking as someone who 15 years ago loved dubstep and spliff)

I know that sounds harsh but you're the one grumbling about being bored and this is my initial observation.

Maybe clear your head and expand your music influences?

not my genre, but i like how they sound.
The best thing you can do is keep sharing your music, You will get negative and positive reactions And it helps you to move forward and get better every day.
