    Hi everyone,
I mean, as it is getting to the end of its development, once 12 is just around the corner, are the latest 11 releases stable enough after all those initial drawbacks? Or should one still stick to 10 for a reliable/less buggy release?
(Not interested in 12 for the time being).
    Please, share your experiences.

    Thanks in advance.

When the day comes I can no longer make a song with 10, I'll upgrade but honestly? 10 is working just fine for me. I do have 11 on another machine purely because of Minilab 3's connectivity. I much prefer to actually do most of the work on 11 though.

Sorry. To answer your question, yes 11 is stable. (Most work on 10 I meant!!!! DOH!)

Appreciate your reply. I am more or less doing the same, except that it is one version behind: most work I do on 9, and have had 10 installed for some time. But I am considering ditching both for 11 now that it seems stable.

    Thanks again!

    You're very welcome.

I have versions 8 to 11 (I keep 8 because it was the last version that supported Quick Time) Quick Time was great. It allowed you to put photos on the timeline and it would create a video from them.

I wouldn't get rid of 8 OR 10, but if you want you can run all versions. (For how little space they take up)

it should use the last MAX 8.6.0 that also need a new iLock chalenge from specialist to get the RNBO option more.
you can still replace MAX for live but it will use a limited license from ableton unlock.

the embeded max is still 8.5.6 in ableton 11 setup.
