A pretty, but not very smart puppet of the WEF and US democratic party.

Judging by the names you cite I'm gonna assume you're not super duper young anymore (although you may very well be young at heart).

Don't you think that would explain why? You're clearly nowhere near Swift's target demographics.
I mean I'm the same age as her, and I couldn't recognize more songs than two either, because I've never been interested in her music, never been part of her target demographics etc.

Morisette, I could do 2-3 cause I didn't grow up listening to her either, I just liked a few songs when they came out and the clips were in regular circulation on TV -although I can probably recognize her voice easier than Swift.
Cyndi Lauper, I'll recognize on sight, but can't even name one song -not my generation's thing.
Madonna.. well, she's like the female MJ, you can't escape her, so yeah.

    Ah, the class.
You're looking for special bitches of course. Tell us when you find one (that you didn't pay for)

    Yeah you ALMOST got it.
I started listening to grandma vinyls that included Elvis, Satchmo, Ray Coniff, Mancini, blahblah... but she was also an active buyer and follower of the hits of 70's and 80's (do you remember Neanderthal Man? It was one of the first record I almost worn out) going to ELP, Donna Summer, EW&F, Lipps Inc, Duran Duran and again blahblah.
She "infected" me in this behaviour.

    So why almost?
Because while I think I'm relatively lucky enough to have lived the transition from the "full" analog era to the digital era and all music embedded within, I still have the habit to follow and listen to charts and get from time to time what I think is at least a bit interesting.
Problem is, there's really not much to scratch, so basically I get something like 1 or 2 (at times 0) on 200 auditioned, and just as booby prize.

I understand that music adapts to younger generations to get easy likes but that should be not an excuse to lower quality.

When I hear Michael Jackson I still get shivers as also with many other past artists.
When I hear many contemporary artists the highest emotion is something like "uh, not too bad".
Think it of a visually wondeful cake, that when you taste you feel... meh.

Apparently Taylor's expanding ideological purity is a hit with some. Doubleplusgood!

There is something very synthetic about her. she's kinda a Barbie Doll for music, the kids get to dress her up in different outfits like cowgirl, or raver, except there not just outfits, they're also musical motifs or genre.

Don't you fukking diss The Monkees. They were the greatest rock band of the 60's, better than The Beatles, Led Zep or The Doors. The Moody Blues wanted to be them, Pink Floyd envied those lads and Sly learned from them how to get down and funky. Mickey Dolenz was amazing and perhaps the best vocalist of the day.

    I forgive you

I'm totally triggered by Swift. It's like a 2 Minutes Hate. It feels good, like I'm becoming a sith.

A lot of Swifties seem pretty damn happy. Plus she seems to really make the shittiest people really mad. Can't stand her music, but overall I think she's a positive thing.
