a tool that auto-installs DAWs, VSTs and drivers on windows

    hey guys. if you ever reinstall windows or setup a new audio production pc you can use this tool to save some time: https://github.com/zotune/auto-install

    it listens for archives and installers in your downloads folder.

    use cases:
    - download latest version of bitwig/ableton using chrome -> auto-installs
    - toss a bunch of installers for your favorite vsts/audio plugins in the downloads folder -> unpacks and auto-installs them all
    - download a focusrite driver or audio plugin upgrade -> auto-installs
    etc
