Hope I'm posting this in the right area.

Wanting to know what VPN you guys are using these days.
For years I used Torguard. Two years ago I signed up with Surfshark and had a decent deal on it. Seemed good at first but the last 6 months the speeds were up and down and constantly getting dropouts (but when I disconnected Surfshark the net worked flawlessly. So not going with them again.

Tossing up between Express VPN and Private Internet Access. PIA is cheaper. Most sites rate Express VPN as their top pick.
I'd want to use it on PC/Laptop, Android phones, firestick/chromecast and Sony Bravia Android TV and a Samsung Smart TV (Although I doubt you can install a VPN on the samsung as it doesn't have google play).

Let me know your experiences/recommendations below :)

Both Mullvad and Proton are excellent, using Proton currently.

Proton VPN is really good! I use it for nearly two years now and had no problems at all.

it depends on where you are using it. in some places most of these dont work at all. that said if proton does work where you are then thats my pick.

I've bought Kaspersky Plus earlier this year and it came with unlimited (afaik) VPN. So far it's working just fine, quite the deal I'd say.

I am looking for VPN recommendations, primarily i wish to use one with a Kodi box and Firestick, so i have a few questions.

My setup consists of a VM Hub3 in router mode and i do not wish to buy a dedicated router.

    1. Can i pay for a VPN service and easily use it with a Kodi box and Firestick?

    2. Best cheap VPN for Kodi streaming?

read the answers above your post. A VPN doesn't care what application you are running. there is no best vpn for Kodi or Limewire or whatever..

I started with a pretty solid deal on NordVPN but ran into speed issues like you did with Surfshark. It’s super frustrating when that happens. I ended up switching to ExpressVPN, and it’s been much more reliable for me, especially on my PC and Firestick. I can use it on all my devices without dropping out, which was a huge deal for me, especially when streaming or gaming. As for the Samsung TV, I actually ended up using a proxy server through my router to get around the lack of Google Play support. It worked pretty well and saved me from the hassle of finding a workaround.

There is a new VPN around that is sort of an advancement in some of the ways VPNs work, called Tailscale. You guys might wanna check it out, i 've no affiliation or anything with this, i just saw Wendell's interview of the main guy behind it and it seemed very cool. Best thing is their personal plan containing most main features of the soft is free.

As usual no1 mentions blocking, the fact that many big sites (streaming/music, among other categories) hate VPN connections and block these IPs regularly.

The question is of course, which VPN company is best at renewing their IPs so you can keep using your VPN anywhere?

If you've never experienced any issues EVER with previous VPNs then you probably use sites which are not aggressive towards VPN traffic, and you can disregard this post completely :)

If this is a factor for you, I recommend PIA.
