i installed a software from 2013 and when i try open it on windows 11 it says "this version requires Microsoft internet explorer 6.0 (or later) . Do you know any way i can make this work? Thanks

 

It might help anyone who knows about this if you told which name this software and it might help if you put that softare in title , so people who know about it will more likely click on this topic

 

You might be able to find a general solution online. I'm sure you're not the first to encounter this. It might only need a few files from IE.

If you haven't tried compatibility settings for the specific program, I'd start there.

Otherwise, your favorite search engine will have other workarounds. But yeah, kind of hard to guess without knowing what app you're trying to run here.
