anybody try this yet Ultraloop - Twisted Loops

 

Yeah it's really good, I like Twisted Tools stuff.

 

It's very good. Even the stock content is awesome.
I've used a few of my own loops to create a nice break on a track. Defo worth the purchase price.

 

Maybe currently the best not-just-reaktor-Thing to recycle and mashup 'old' loops and sounds. Even i have to admit that a few features a missing, like pitching the loops or changing the fx-settings, it's really fun to play and experiment with and it's so easy to use but on the other hand it offers many, many features to explore. Absolutely a no-brainer if you can afford it. And yes, the included libraries are also more than average if it comes to all kind of electronic music. Twisted Tools _always_ create useful things goin' beyond the usual stuff.

Hi guys this is my post and I'm after sum advice about reaktor and ultra loop . I'm having trouble saving the snap shot with the samples . When ever I load a snap shot in ultra loop (cooh expansion) I have to manually load all the samples back into the map editor. And when I close reaktor the samples are gone . The only way I've been able to save the snap shot with the samples is by creating a new ens file under a different name. Is this the correct process.
Also I've been playing with my own samples with in ultra loop and I can't work out how to save my own mapping file or to create a snap shot . Thanks for any help you guys can give .

 

Not exactly sure, I haven't used it much. But I remember you have to save the map and load the map and snapshot each time. But saving the map will keep you from having to load samples each time. There's a way to view map editor. It shows up at the bottom and at the bottom right is a dropdown box to save and load map files. Not exactly sure just guessing but I read it in the expansions manual on how to load the correct maps with the ens. So give it a try!

 

Thanks for replying . I think I may have figured it out . I just saved the expansion as a new reaktor ens file and exported the audio files with the snap shot . I should have just read my reaktor manual first it answered all my questions. I've now worked out how to make my own snap shot and save with my samples . Once again thanks for your reply

this is one of the best plugins ever.
imcredible amount of stuff you can create. highly recommended.
as i find with most of NI stuff. reaktor is still my fav plugin.
polyplex is a good one from twisted tools also. like a funkier version of battery with loads of mad randomisation stuff if you are that way inclined ( as i am )

I'm still having a bit of trouble with it when I load In my own samples I'm putting in dnb loops at 175 Bpm but when I play the samples back the really fast. And when I'm loading a few loops into the key map there's no sound unless I move the up the key map piano roll but the still sounding really fast . I've watched the twisted tools video on it and been to there forum but neither help much . I'd be grateful for some help plz guys thanks

 

This plugin absolutely rocks I finally got things sorted out . It was a present to myself for finally giving up smoking . I'm so glad I got this one it was only $69 , I only brought the cooh expansion which was $19 just to get an idea of things but now there's no holding back now Ive worked out how to map my own samples .
