I made a R&B like song. I´m not really into this genre yet, so please let me know what you think!

Although if i may, this is just my opinion,
the kick - would be much better if its more pronounced,
and two it needs some break, by break i mean some space or silence at certain points like the one at 1:58, and when at times there is rap vocal coming in, it makes the listener much more immersed when there is a tension and release, those vocals are much center than the others, those are chorus part i believe, if thats so its fine.

I also feel it´s maybe a bit flat, although there are a lot different elements in the song.
So you mean to hold the music really back when the rap comes in?

The track sounds B grade, but the Vocals are good.

I agree regarding the kick but I didn't miss a break part, the whole track isn't that long anyway.
I would move the ~ 200 - 300Hz range from the pad synth more to the sides to make the vocals more audible.
Other than that, I like it.

i think he used Quality plugs on vocal, and made a shitty track. just my 2 cents.

Regarding the kick... It´s more of a laid back song so I was reluctant on a heavy kick. But maybe you´re right

Yes and no actually there are different ways to do it, but it always come to the producer to make a right decision.
For example, U could keep the arrangement as is and before the rap vocal just during the words " yeah i know u play games.. bla bal" just before that u could remove some hi hats from the drums, and add some elements which could add contrast from one part to the other.

The kick - it has Sub, but lacks a mid range and tiny bit of top end bite. And i felt that the sub kick was side much more than Mid.

Right off my mind i could only think of one Justice song, who sticks on to the verse -bridge- chorus- verse format, and most ppl dont realize the obvious song structure , but its always on your face all the time. The contrast they give for their song parts is amazing. There is always instruments addition or removed when the songs move from one part to the other.
Here, its not the same Genre, but u get the point. Listen at 1:24

There a software called Song master https://aurallysound.com/products/song-master-pro, which analyses songs and gives u an approximate structure, its not accurate but one can learn a lot. Try similar stuff if u want to..

That's his way, shitty comments. Pay no mind to him. Your song sounds good. I agree with bringing up the kick.

 

I can't listen right now, but I will check later. Is there something wrong with these plugins or developer? I did a search and only found 2 mentions of these. People try to ID many synths and "classic" effects, and obvious ones like Auto-tune; but you rarely see them guessing at effects plugins like these.

Yes, I love Justice! They´re amazing at staying you hooked to a song.
So I know what you mean. I´ve already tried to hold back certain elements to make it more interesting. But I can do that even more.
I think also this style (Doja Cat etc.) doesn´t really work in this way. It´s always pretty empty regarding arrangement and hardly any variety. It´s actually not really something I would normally make, but this melody got stuck in my head and it worked best in this genre.
Anyway, I´ll keep working on it to make it perfect, so thanks!!!

 

It,z a nice track, maybe it,s the wine but i think you might try bringing up the hi eng. Make it brighter.
