i don't recall any behaviour directed at you, or any post in I call any of your actions invalid. I think you may be over reacting. I know its easy to be mean to people when you are on line, I try not to do that, I never say anything to anyone I wouldn't say to them in real life.

Last time I did tape splicing was maybe 1994 and I was pretty good at it, I'm sure if I tried again they would take me to hospital with my fingers cut to pieces

 

I use the Stream Deck XL to control everything on my mac like opening folders, web pages, open and close software including control most parameters on my DAW. It’s a real timesaver!

 

Make an audiable tool that says : PASTE THIS.
So when you select some text, you say to this tool... PASTE THIS.
Then you don't have to use ctrl + v.

 

In windows... double click = highlight word.. tripple click = highlight sentence... and in some programs (mainly word): double click in a margin... triple click in a margin...
I got a job by teaching this in mock presentation for an interview I like the fact that some people will think it was a stupid question and have now learnt something. Even if its just one I am happy.

 

I use a gaming mouse with programmable buttons.

 

Jokes aside, you could bind this as a macro to a Streamdeck key. I don't know why you would do that, but at least you have the option.

In mac there is : mac mouse fix version 2.2.3 is free and you can give key combinations to mouse buttons, also if you use a trackpad there is a multitouch app not for free

 

I make a lot of use of the clipboard history in Windows (Winkey+V). That way I can reuse text I recently copied, and not need to worry about losing it if I don't paste right away.
