I am waiting on a parcel from Thomann, having ordered it on the 3rd January. I know shipping to the UK now only is trackable when it hits DHL in the UK

At the moment Thomann is only saying “The goods have left our warehouse and are on their way to the border.”

I am assuming that the next update after that will be when it hits the UK

However, I want to know your experiences with shipping and times

Usually your next update will not be "in the uk", but arrival at outgoing customs. Then arrival at UK customs, then picked up by courier. Patience is key.

Thomann have always been great to me. Unfortunately, like every international shipping, delivery times are not consistent. My deliveries range from 4 days to 2 weeks generally with all international shipping. Sometimes the customs part slows to a complete stop when there are international disasters. One time from a different company, the shipping info updated, I waited in and all that was deliverd was a card telling me I had to pay custom fees (from US). Thomann I have never had any issues with. Another thing to be aware of, on occasions you will be told your parcel has been delivered. This can some times mean its been delivered to the courier and not to you :D

 

Yes, Customs makes the biggest delay Take a close look at your delivery , sometimes they mess it up.

 

I think everytime I’ve ordered from them it’s arrived in under a week.
