Im running win 11 home version 22h2
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core Processor 3.50 GHz
16.0 GB RAM
2 TB SSD

Ive installed r2r Spectrasonics
Omnisphere
Trillian
Keyscape

The problem is in my DAW it only allows me to use one VST at a time before asking me to locate the STEAM folder for each plugin

so basically i open DAW
open plugin
Locate steam folder
Restart DAW
Plugin works (omnisphere i.e.)

Then open 2nd track
select Trillian lets say
and itll ask me to locate STEAM Folder again
so If i do that and restart DAW Trillian works but now omnishere wont

I Have all three libraries i can reinstall, How should i install them and into what folders

I currently have them in program files/spectrasonics

Should I Try to just reinstall all three steam folders into that same folder because i have them in their own respective folders for each plugins
so 3 different folders currently...

Please help me out thank you for your time

i know i messed up my folder situation somehow so please kindly point me in the right direction because i got everything working now but just not in unison

 

Default location is ProgramData/Spectrasonics/STEAM, so if you are going to leave it on C, better put it all there, that's where Spectrasonics put symlinks too. If you can't find Program Data folder, it's hidden, try this. Also give permissions to Spectrasonics folders if needed, try this.

yeah i knew i botched it, so start over and put them all in ProgramData/Spectrasonics/STEAM?

Your Directories are all messed up.

omg thank you lord, that fixed everything i didnt even have to restart. just cleaned up my mess found the proper file sand folders and moved them as a whole into ProgramData/Spectrasonics/STEAM
