For you and I? Sure. Endless one-shot packs are not part of my workflow whatsoever. Seriously, how many f#%@ing overdriven 808s do you need?

Luckily the sister site has a sidebar which allows us to view sections other than 'Samples'.

Also, I can imagine that these crappy packs are useful for some people, who need to make lot of beats in short amounts of time; therefore being fed a steady diet of "new" samples is perhaps intrinsic to their workflow.

My only personal gripe is that the samples that I am interested in (90s - 00s stuff, rare stuff, old re-ups) get buried really quickly.

When I was a kid, we were playing ball in the alley behind the house. A garbage truck was slowly coming down, picking the week's garbage up. When the truck came near us, the garbage man jumped off and started pouring the bins into the compactor in the back.

I asked him,
"Hey... doesn't the garbage smell bad?"

He laughed at me and said,
"You know what, it all smells like strawberries to me now"

Oh how does that work? I'd love to be able to filter out all the sample libraries! Never seen that sidebar though.

 

No I don't think so. Well, that's just my opinion. It's not about me, and I understand that the world doesn't revolve around me. Sometimes there are cool stuff on AZ, sometimes it's not for me but others may found it cool. That's just how it is. Long may it continues.

I don't understand people who ask if the sun is shining, rather than simply going to the window and raising the blinds and looking outside. Its sooooooooooooooooo easy to go to the sister site and simply look.

heres where I enter geezer mode. I had to train a number of early 20 year olds in the last couple of years, and they would never think of actually just trying something without asking me to show them how or do it for them. This is the antithesis to learning. I fear for the future...

Could you be a little more clear? Surely you cannot mean 'are sample loop libraries available on sister site as well as plugs etc'?

I feel certain that OP meant it as "too many loops", as in sample packs.
