I wouldn't even call this "spam", per se. If you did it using a bot, or some kind of thing like Constant Contact, then probably you could classify it as actually spamming. That said, the reason why I think most people do not bother anyway, is because they aren't making songs/tracks for clicks. You could find more money in your couch than 1000 clicks is worth to you. Really, all you would be doing would be feeding 50 forums worth of trolls. Waste of time, is probably the biggest reason why people do not do this that much.

You could always resort to the latest horrible trend on tik tok and instagram known as “e- begging.” Sadly, It works really well.
Just post a video of yourself saying that no one listens to your music and that you are sad about it , before you know it , you will get a bunch of pity follows, and likes

 

That's brilliant, you can make sad clickbait story, like "All labels rejected me, all my friends mocked me, is my music really that bad" and you can gather bunch of folks there who will actually listen to your music and promote it just to prove them wrong... like we will show that labels you can do without them lol people just love to unite for most stupidest things, give them sense of belonging. Maybe cherry on top, generate some hot chick AI character and simps will do the rest lol

 

it's been done on here many times, although not as obviously. it's always some abstract thing like " i cant figure out this mix" or whatever, and then there is nothing seriously wrong with it. any suggestions to fix it are met with "tried this already" or something equally nebulous that require additional listens. and nothing about it changes anyway.

 

Yeah and posting released music (Spotify link nonetheless) with good old, thank you, will try that next time. lol
