I'm running a Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 Firewire and have been using it since 2016. Works great in my home studio, lot's of input and output options, have had zero issues whatsoever. I'm a hobbyist. I route my vDrum kit through the MIDI input, guitars and basses through the line ins and mics use the mic preamp ins. Line outs to studio monitors, and the xlr outs feed a mixing board that pushes my QSC PA setup. Has all the connections I need for my uses, without having to switch cables. Prior to that, I had been running an M-Audio Audiophile 192 for many years.

RME Babyface Pro I got it in 2019 and has been rock solid since day one. When people ask me what interface they should get I don't even hesitate to recommend it.

    1. MME - built-in soundcard Windows
    2. Since I have computer
    3. Low cpu consumption and higher performance than any additional soundcard but disadvantage here is delay which always be higher than asio drives with additional sound card

Yes! I've heard this several times from other users, I don't know why RME doesn't do anything about it :)-

Exactly. For their taste of hardware design, they should have done better than this.

Yes, I'm Windows 10 user (as indicated in my signature ), no issue concerning the driver, either from Bitwig Studio 5.1, REAPER 6.83, or Komplete Kontrol 3.0.3 app.

From Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver control panel, setting is:

    - Mode: Low Latency
    - Buffer Size: 128 Samples
(resulting 3.167 msec for input latency, 5.146 msec for output latency, indicated by the driver's control panel)

    - Sample rate: 48 kHz
    - USB Mode: SuperSpeed (USB 3.1 Gen 1)

    I don't use the input, but only L & R outputs (to pair of M-Audio BX5-D2).
Yamaha Steinberg USB driver v2.1.5 (using only the driver, no other Steinberg application)

As small precision: no production, no mixing/mastering, but only live performance in my home studio. For me, C.M. is mainly for experimentation, as curious (old) guy I am. I love Bitwig Studio for modulations and... Grid, also I love VCV Rack.

Steinberg Yamaha USB Driver updated from v2.1.5 to v2.1.6, few minutes ago (after my previous reply).

I know motu interfaces from my own experience...

very good and stable drivers, and the audio measurements were always very good.

which operating system do you have?

    Im using an SSL 2

have it for 2 years now

its really sturdy, looks really cool, has a low noise floor and decent pre amps but I have some nitty picks for its design

I'm a professional and a music hobbyist, depends on who you ask.
