Audient ID14 MkII with MOTU 828 MkII connected via ADAT.

Several years.

Audient is small enough to be portable to take out of studio to use with laptop and have Class A Preamp, but also the ADAT makes it flexible for studio use to connect my MOTU (or any other device) for additional 8 inputs.

Somewhere in between.

-Advantages : Steady drivers , built in eq
-Disadvantages : Doesnt have totalmix +this thing runs hot! (Hot to touch, it was expensive so im thinking of installing some kinda fan to this)
-Hobby

Had to get decent interface because of the speakers, it doesnt hurt that it has good headphone amp and settings.

RME Digiface and Multiface with various ADAT converters for over 20 years. First with PCI and PCMCIA card, later with PCIe and Express Card. The Express Card is still working in a Sonnet Thunderbolt adapter and you still get drivers for it. Working fine with a M1 MacBook after 20 years!
RME Babyface for over 10 years because it's so compact and always in the laptop bag.
RME Babyface Pro FS for about 2 years as main interface at my workstation.

Never had any issues ever with any RME interface.

Yes, I can 100% confirm the positive reports about RME interfaces, as I have worked with RME interfaces for years and never had any problems. The quality of RME's drivers is also worth mentioning.

4 months (previously a Babyface for about 10 years)
Amazing support with the best drivers
Just a hobby (mostly) now

 

Cheap Behringer UHD interface
7 years
no problems, great drivers

Switched to MOTU and now have crackles and pops, latency is same like the behringer

For over a decade
Zero disadvantages. Advantages have been mentioned. ;-)

 

Rme Fireface 802 here, for 3 years now, everything running smoothly, loving the different routing possibilities and the total mix software.

I had 2 presonus firestudio daisy chained via Firewire for 10 years before and had no issue with them as well, but not the same build quality and features that with RME.

I'm mixing and mastering for various people, and doing some music myself on my spare time

 

Motu for 3 years now, any problem,good price for correct quality!, hobby +++
