Omnisphere Activation Problems
I've inserted the activation code (keygen), but Omnisphere writes "Please completely remove this is instance of Omisphere and reopen it again, etc...".


Some suggesions?

Must be that time of year again, noob season?

 

I have all my music production programs on a separate partition from my OS, and omnisphere was giving me the same issue. I don't know if you are using a different drive or not, but if you are, it might be wise to delete everything spectrasonics related and do a clean install into your DAWs VST folder, or one that you have your DAW pointed towards. If you've tried reinstalling it more than once, you'll want to search your HD for the Omnisphere .dll and make sure there aren't two instances of it on your computer in different locations. If, like me, you're doing it on a separate drive or separate partition, you'll need to move around some other hidden folders so that Omnisphere can link to the STEAM database included with your installer.

 

Yep Omni is a bit stroppy when it comes to installing, always let it install to its default locations, then you can move the steam folder to another location and then tell omni where to find it
