Anyone seeing similar problems in windows with cubase pro? happens from time to time..

 

Cubase does what cubase wants, maybe its some plugin you are using

when you restart cubase you should see another message where it asks if you wanna keep your usual settings or wanna start it in safe mode

it should also tell what has been the main problem of the last crash

you see it?

ive had this before, when a freeze track gets corrupted it will crash cubase sometimes... restart the project un freeze the track and then refreeze it works for me the ffew times its happened to me

 

I don't have any tracks freezed. Does this have to do something with jbridge and using 32 bit plugins as 64 bit plugins?

 

maybe, i really could never get Jbridge to play nice with Cubase when i was on 10.5 im on 13 now and just gave in to an all 64 bit plug ins.. if i need anything older i do it in reason and then rewire into cubase or do it on my MAC and use bluecat connecter but i rarely need to do this anymore as most all my fave plug ins have been update save a couple

 

I don't think you can use Jbridge for Audio Unit plugins in Logic, so I never have. But you can use 32Lives for VST plugins. I do not use it for VST, but I have had very good luck with it for old AU plugins. Some stuff will just never work; but aside from those few, it almost always does.
